What We Believe
At Parkway we have four dots we would like for you to connect in your life. When you connect these dots, we believe you will live an abundant life. Each dot is a part of the process that we want you to take when attending Parkway. Through knowing Jesus, you will then discover who you are! Once you discover who you are, you will experience life in the best way! And once you begin to experience life, you will make your mark on your family, your community and so many others for Jesus. We hope you take these steps with us and change our community for the Kingdom!
We believe in the one eternal God: who is unlimited in power; holy in His nature, His attributes and His purpose; and who possesses absolute, indivisible deity. This one true God has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and His name is Jesus. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified on Calvary for the sins of humanity, and physically arose from the grave. We believe that through His death and life we have personal salvation and power for victorious living.
About the Bible
We believe God originated and inspired the Bible, and that the Bible is God's message to humanity. We accept the Bible as the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct. About Salvation: We believe that every person has sinned and stands in need of redemption, which is obtained through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those repenting of sin and being born again of water and Spirit become children of God. Peter's message in Acts chapter 2 is still alive and well at Parkway Life.
We believe the church has been "called out" of the world to be a group of people who follow Jesus Christ. As the body of Christ, the church offers hope to humanity and will make a difference for the Kingdom. The church is one group of people made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and calling of the Holy Spirit. The scriptures describe it as a body or a family. Parkway Life takes seriously our role to serve our community and exists as a place that offers people hope and purpose, even as we challenge people to discover and live a Christ-centered life.
