Giving is a part of our worship to God. It has been said that you can tell nearly everything about a person by the way they spend their money. Whether you are tithing in obedience or contributing over and above your tithe as an act of generosity, your money will help us minister God’s hope and healing to our community and beyond.
There are three ways for you to give:
1. Tithing: Tithing reflects a grateful heart that wants to give back to God a portion of what He has given us; in reality, what is already His. Tithing is our opportunity to show God that He is first in our lives. James 1:17 says that “every good and perfect gift is from above …,” so we have an opportunity to tangibly show God He is the “owner” of our finances by giving back to Him the first of what He gives us. Tithing is one of the most tangible and practical ways for believers to live out their faith in Jesus. “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” – Malachi 3:10
2. Grace and Truth Plan: Giving to the Grace and Truth Plan is giving into the needs of the Parkway campus. In 2019 all money given to G&T went towards a new parking lot for Parkways continued growth. Grace and Truth helps propel the Parkway vision at a faster rate. Thank you for having vision with us on what Parkway can become.
3. At The Table: At The Table is a yearly offering that we give to missions outside of Parkway. Parkways vision is to give in three categories:
- International
- National
- Local
Through giving to At The Table, you are giving to something that is greater than yourself. In 2021, we will be building a school in Haiti, helping fund missionaries in Lithuania, help local charities and organizations and also help start Life Houses.
