Communicator. Passionate. Visionary. Creative. Leader. All these words describe Pastor Nathan Keating. He completed a Bachelor of Theology degree in Houston in 1990. God then led him to direct student ministries in Longview and Austin, Texas. After serving students in Austin for 5 years, he then became the Pastoral Assistant. During his tenure in Austin, he was elected as Youth President of Texas, directing thousands of youth in annual camps, retreats and conventions. He preaches the gospel in a way that all can understand and live. Pastor of Parkway Life Church since 2002, with GOD's blessings, his visionary leadership has seen attendance more than triple and completion of a new worship center. He is in love with his wife, Adina, who is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She is also very active in worship on Sundays, and together they have three incredible children, Alec, Macy and Paige.
Brandon Pippin is a key part to every thing that takes place at Parkway Life. Pastor Brandon has served this church body in almost every capacity. He is the definition of a true servant! He has a wonderful wife, Courtney and three awesome kids, Kelsy, Jake, and Kinsy. As well as serving at the church, during the week he serves his community as a fireman. Brandon will always greet you with a hug and a smile and if you hear a loud WHAAAAT's UUUP, then you know he is right around the corner!
Courtney Pippin is a vibrant, friendly voice for all that call or visit the Parkway office. Courtney administrates the day to day workings of Parkway Life. She also serves as our Dream Team coach. She is very passionate about people finding their purpose and walking it out. She is such a vital part to our staff and our church family!
While receiving his bachelor’s degree in music from William Carey University and his master’s degree in music from the University of Southern Mississippi, Scott served in many areas of music at Woodlawn Church in Columbia, Mississippi. While there, he served as youth music director, traveled across the south helping churches with their music programs, taught piano and voice lessons. Since then, he has taught music at several Christian colleges. Scott’s passion for God and music is displayed on a weekly basis through leading Parkway Life Church to worship God with conviction, excitement, and a sincere desire to engage and love Him. Outside of music, Scott enjoys hiking, reading a variety of books and spending quality time with friends and family.
Alec Keating is full of life, passion, humor and has an undeniable love for people. Moving to Parkway Life, when he was just 4 years old, Alec developed a love for this church and the people in it. Alec moved to Birmingham, AL in January of 2017 and pursued a Certificate of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership from Highlands College. During his time at Highlands College, God called him back to Parkway Life to serve the students of this church and of Southeast Texas. He is super excited about what God is going to do through the youth group, Echo. While Alec was attending Highlands College, he met his fiancé, Taylor Rester. Taylor is still currently at Highlands College pursuing a Certificate of Ministry in Worship Leadership. She will be joining Alec after they are married in August 2019. They both are super excited and have a passionate love for students and want everyone to experience life change through the loving arms of Jesus.
Abby’s passion for ministry and heart for children make her the perfect fit as Kids Pastor at Parkway. Abby was born in the beautiful state of Hawaii, but spent most of her life living in Illinois. She attended Christian Life College in Stockton, California, earning dual Bachelor's degrees in both Christian Education and Theology.
Abby has an amazing husband Victor, and is Mom to two handsome sons, Zander and Harrison. Prior to their move to Texas, Abby and Victor served together as youth leaders in their home
state of Illinois. Abby has a servant’s heart and has served in various ministries in several different capacities. In addition to her position as Kids Pastor, she also currently serves as a member of
Parkway’s Prayer Team. Abby and Victor moved to Lumberton and began attending Parkway in 2008. In 2012, Abby began serving in Parkway PreK, and remained there until she accepted the position of Kids Pastor in October 2016. Outside of ministry, Abby enjoys bike riding, baking, and spending time with her family.
